Community Psychiatry Management Acquires Harbor Psychologist

Community Psychiatry Management, a Sacramento-based provider of outpatient behavioral health services, on Tuesday announced that it has acquired Harbor Psychologist, which provides psychiatric and psychological services for adults and children in Lakewood and Long Beach, California.

Harbor Psychologist will operate under the Community Psychiatry Management name, joining more than 40 other locations in the organization’s network. The deal adds four psychiatrists, six psychologists and eight licensed therapists to Community Psychiatry Management’s staff of more than 150 mental healthcare providers.

Harbor Psychologist provides mental health evaluations, medication management, therapy and counseling for individuals, groups and families, group therapy, an employee assistance program, and psychological testing. Its founder, Zecharia Oren, PhD, will continue to lead the program, which will treat depression, addictive disorders, bipolar affective disorder, autism spectrum, eating disorders and other mental health conditions.
