Pharos’ Family Treatment Network Acquires Alpine Academy and Interventions Unlimited

Pharos Capital Group, through its Family Treatment Network platform, announced that it has acquired Alpine Academy and Interventions Unlimited, a pair of suburban Orlando, Florida, facilities that, together, provide applied behavior analysis-based educational services and ABA therapy to children. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Pharos’ Family Treatment Network (FTN) platform was established in 2016 to manage investments in special schools, psychiatric residential treatment centers and community-based programs for children, adolescents and their families. The deal for Alpine Academy and Interventions Unlimited is FTN’s fifth acquisition. The network also operates properties in Texas, Utah, South Dakota and Connecticut.

Alpine Academy is a private day school that serves children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, and Interventions Unlimited provides home and clinic-based programs for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, as well as behavioral or emotional problems, learning disabilities, and other developmental disabilities.

Jing Zhou, who founded Interventions Unlimited in 2000 and Alpine Academy in 2007, will remain as CEO.
